Time management is a vital skill for nursing students and this can be developed during your time at university. There are lots of things that can contribute to overcoming procrastination. These include:
- Planning and organizing
- Setting goals and deadlines
- Prioritising tasks
- Eliminating distractions
- Rewarding yourself
- Taking adequate breaks
- Utilising organizational tools like: wall planners, diaries, apps or online calendars
- Use different study methods such as: time blocking and the Pomodoro method
